TOG stands for "Thermal Overall Grade" and is an industry-recognised unit for measuring the thermal insulation of clothing and bedding. Simply put: the lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the fabric. Below are guidelines on how to dress your baby or toddler based on room temperature. These are for guidance only. The number of clothing layers may vary depending on your baby’s health, physiology, and room temperature.

Swaddle Up™
Using the Swaddle Up™ swaddle is much easier than traditional swaddling. Because it's a zip-up design, you don't have to worry about complicated folding or loose layers. Here's a simple step-by-step guide for a secure fit: The 'arms up' position: Lay your baby on a flat surface and lay the Swaddle Up™ swaddle open. Place your baby inside the swaddle and make sure their arms are positioned in the 'wings'. This allows your baby to sleep in their natural 'arms up' position. Zip it up: Zip the swaddle all the way up. The Swaddle Up™ swaddle is designed to fit snugly around the body, mimicking a 'familiar hug' that helps reduce the Moro reflex. That's it! Fit tip: Check the neckline. Make sure the fabric lies flat against your baby's chest and that the neck opening is comfortable. Our designs have a zipper guard at the top to protect your baby's chin and delicate skin from irritation. Using the two-way zipper for diaper changes: When you need to change a diaper at night: Unzip from the bottom towards the middle. Gently pull your baby's legs out while keeping their arms and torso warm and snug in the top half. After changing, reposition their legs inside the swaddle and close the zipper
Our Swaddle Up™ swaddle sack is designed to provide a simple and stress-free way to swaddle your newborn. Unlike traditional swaddles, there are no complicated folding techniques. Simply place your baby inside and zip it up! The innovative design ensures your child is secure every time, with no loose layers or dangerous escape points. The Swaddle Up™ swaddle sack also has a unique shape that allows babies to sleep in a more natural, "arms up" position, just like they did in the womb, with access to their hands for gentle self-soothing—meaning more sleep for them and for you.
The Swaddle Up™ swaddle can be used from birth. To ensure a proper fit, we recommend choosing the size based on your baby's current weight and height, not their age. The Swaddle Up™ swaddle is available in sizes from 2.2 kg to 8.5 kg, making it suitable from the newborn stage until approximately 3 months of age, or until your baby begins to show signs of rolling over.
The Swaddle Up™ is designed to mimic the comfort of the womb, providing infants with the security they need to drift off to sleep peacefully. It offers soothing warmth without the risk of loose layers and is a safer and easier sleeping option compared to traditional baby blankets.
Safety is at the heart of every Love to Dream™ design. Our Swaddle Up™ provides a precise fit around the torso and neck, keeping the fabric securely away from the face, while the zippered design eliminates the risk of loose layers or dangerous escape points. Made from our exclusive breathable DreamStretch™ fabric, it supports natural movement and regulates temperature for a safer and more peaceful night for your baby.
According to safe sleep guidelines, newborns should always sleep on their backs to reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Sleeping on their stomach or side is not safe for babies who cannot yet roll over independently.
